From Bacardi Cuba, the company certainly has expanded its global reach over the decades.

In celebration of the rise in popularity of the Bacardi Cuba cocktail, Bacardi is launching the Original Bacardi Mojito Fiesta. For six weeks, starting last June 20 way until July 31 2009, cocktail aficionados and rum drinkers will be able to revel in an assortment of Mojito variations and concoctions along with Cuban related events to entice the senses.

Right after the launch of the Singapore River Festival, a pre launch event was held at the Empress Place green on the 19th of June. Featuring the skillful vocals of Fabiola Zuniga and her Cuban band, the event entitled “An evening of Cuban Jazz 1″ has entranced an audience along the Singapore river. The official launch of the Mojito fiesta entitled “Salsa Extravaganza” took place the following evening at the Clarke Quay Central Square. After a night of salsa, another day was dedicated to Mojito lovers who want to sample the variety of offerings available during the fiesta at the same time learn a little about the history of the Mojito through the Bacardi Mojito Discovery Tour.

For the whole duration of the six-week celebration, all participating outlets within the island will be offering the Original Bacardi Cuba Mojito at special prices. Additionally, Clark Quay establishments will be offering the “Original Bacardi Mojito” at a festival price during the 10-day Singapore River Festival from 5-8 pm daily.
